Cakes and Wonderful treats...

I just found some absolutely awesome cakes! Yes CAKES!!! It is another blog which was kindly shown to me by a friend! :)

http://samwoh.blogspot.com

Awesome! There is some serious alent there! Check out the ones called "Classic Beauty" "One of my Favourites" "A cake for the true romantics" and "Add a little light".

On another note, it is time for an update!

I went on a little trip away last week! :) I went to Lakes Entrance. I had never been there prior to this trip. I didn't realise how far away it was! close to 5 and a half hours!! I will say one thing, there are some amazing views from the hills around Lakes Entrance! Also, an amazing beach! 90 mile beach. I swear to god, this beach has the most shells I have ever seen in one place! I will upload photo's soon! Promise!
In other areas, I have just started holidays! 2 weeks of pure nothing to do! LOVE IT! I have been writing a little more of my book today! (you know, the one that is like Romeo and Juliet (without the death)?) I am heading to Melbourne this weekend to see the Titanic exhibition and to do a little bit of shopping (including my favourite chocolates). And finally, I have also decided that for the rest of the week, I will be doing nothing! absolutely NOTHING! :D joy!

Hope all is well with everyone reading!

Writing...

I began writing a book a while ago. It started with me just putting some ideas down on some paper as to what would make a good movie plot. I began to expand on the plot a little and it soon turned into me writing the first quarter of a book!

It is about a girl. It is about a girl who lives with her father on their family orchard. This orchard isn't technically owned by her family anymore as her parents didn't produce a male heir to take over the farm. (It is all to do with a contract made when the family first moved onto the property) At the same time as all of the stuff is happening with the farm, she meets a boy. They fall in love. (This is where the twist is) What the girl doesn't realise is that the boy she falls in love with, is the son of the people who, on a technicallity due to the contract, own her family orchard! (cue dramatic music) I haven't really figured much out after this point, so you will just have to wait! haha

Ginger Rogers...

A talented, beautiful woman who danced with some of the best! Of course, the one that pops into everyone's mind is Fred Astaire.

Oh the movies they made! How wonderful they were! (Still are really) The ones I must say are my favourites would be "Shall we Dance" and "Follow the Fleet". How simple life seems in the movies! Simple, Wonderful, Happy...

I sometimes wish I was born into that world. (without the war of course)

I love the city..

Today I spent the day in Melbourne, after an awesome breakfast at my sister's house that is! :) We popped down to see the Grandparents for afternoon tea (scones included), cruised into the city along beach road, zipped over to Lygon street to get a Souvlaki from Lamb's and some chocolates from Koko Black (which I am now currently eating), and then, after a very awesome evening on Lygon street people watching and book shopping, we slowly made our way home through the city and over the bridge. I love Melbourne!

Next week I am planning another visit to the city, just as good as today! I shall be atending the Titanic exhibition, followed by a short shopping expedition into Bourke Street, and finally a coffee in the city (I am not too sure where yet) with my wonderful Uncle Peter. Ahh the joys of Melbourne! :)

Anyhoo, I am off to enjoy the rest of my favourite chocolate!

Just in case you missed it.....

So, I was watching X-Factor last night and the most amazing guys were on! They were only 17 and 18 and sang like the best artists with autotune! Their names, I hear you ask?
Lazy J and Big Guy. A Slight contradiction because Big Guy is actually the smaller one, but OMG!

If you missed it, watch it! they are awesome!!!
