I was sitting on the couch watching some television, when I glanced out the window and spotted my car sitting outside. I was thinking about the last time I drove my car when my mother rang and reminded me of an appointment I had in town in 2 hours time. I took that as a bit of a sign. I only live 15 minutes away from the edge of town, so I didn't really need to leave yet. I grabbed my keys and headed out to my vehicle. Oh how I had missed actually seeing the car. Sure, I look at it everyday, but I didn't really see it.
I unlocked my car and it beeped twice at me, almost joyful. I think it knew what was coming next.
I had forgotten just how fast my vehicle went. I mean, it's not a Lamborghini Gallardo, but it goes fast enough for me.
As I was driving, thinking about nothing in particular and trying to decide on what shoes I was going to wear tomorrow, My phone started buzzing away. I pulled over and answered. (It was my mother reminding me that my appointment was in half an hour)
I drove to my appointment rather happy that I had driven my car. (And also rather happy that I hadn't been pulled over for speeding) :)
<3 A Wonderland of Thought
oh, p.s. this is what my car looks like! The only difference between this one and mine are the rims. mine has 17" black rims with a chrome lip! :) (and before the questions start, the purple neons are coming soon! ;) I am kidding....maybe....)
Exactly. Boring people, of that there are many. I guess some times stories like that are corny, but it's just that it's a simple concept. people forget, you're right.
ReplyDeleteAnd fair enough, when you're ready you're ready. Good philosophy. I look forward to seeing some of it when the cat is finally allowed out of the bag :)
Ahaha! Well put :)
