So, I am now officially on holidays for the next 4 weeks! I am so happy! I do not have to think about Assignments, Exams or Tests!!!! And this is where I reach the problem, what exactly do I do with the next 4 weeks? I have considered all of the usual options; spending all of the money I have to my name on shoes and clothing, going on a road trip with with my 2 best friends, and then attempting madly to get my books for next semester the day before we start again. But I am a little over the usual and need something a bit different! Any of your suggestions are more then welcome!!
Last night I watched the first dvd of season 4 of Supernatural....again! I am a bit excited, season 5 comes out on dvd here soon!!!! YAY! (And yes, I have got my copy on hold already! (This is why I have started season 4 again!)) Supernatural is my favourite show! It is a show which is directed at a very specific audience, which I am a very proud member of, and is a slight little bit far fetched, but hey! It's pretty much just awesome! :D
The other movie I watched very recently was Amelie. It is a wonderful french movie which I absolutely adore! But then, I do love just about everything French! Including the wonderful landscape, villages and the fantastic french people I know! (I love you all! (Et oui, Bertrand, je t'aime le plus et toi etes mon prefere!)) I will be back over there very soon, I promise!

This is a blog about everything and anything that crosses my mind. It could be my thoughts for the day or even the little adventures some of my friends and I take! Enjoy :)

Ok, so that's not how I thought it works....
So, I have just finished all of my exams for this semester and I'm a bit excited. One of my friends was sitting this exam at the same time I was, he was actually sitting in front of me! As the end of the exam was getting closer, I was looking forward to talking with him about how he went with the impossibly hard question number 4, which none of us were prepared for judging by the looks on all of our faces, and about what we had been talking abou the night before. He said he wanted to catch up after the exam because we hadn't seen eachother for a few weeks. So the examiner tells us that our time is up and we all put our pens down. The examiner collects our papers and we all stand to leave. I look to where my friend was sitting and he is gone, he has practically ran from the exam hall without a second glance. Granted, the conversation we had had the previous night was a little akward, but we are friends and he isn't the sort of person who minds an akward conversation. In fact, he was the one who started the conversation! So I am, needless to say, a little offended and a bit sad. I was really looking forward to catching up with him! I know that you are all probably thinking that something might have been wrong, but it wasn't. How do I know? Well, because I just saw his mother in the shopping centre!

Something Different
Yes, I know I posted this morning, but i must say this: There is nothing more annoying than a person who thinks they are the best thing on the face of the earth and expects everything for nothing! I was having a late lunch with one of my best girl-friends today at a very popular restaurant, possibly the most popular for where I live, when this woman walked in and asked to speak to a manager. That was fine, not a problem! When the manager arrives, the woman looks...agitated. My friend and I return to our discussion of her latest boyfriend and how wonderful he is (I have met him, and I must say he is pretty wonderful!). We are talking about this again for maybe a minute when the woman begins to raise her voice to the manager. The manager, trying to remain calm with the woman, asks if she would "please step outside, ma'am, and we will discuss this further." The woman turns a very deep red and screams, yes screams, at the, what I'm sure was, the top of her lungs at the manager! I look at my best friend and she looks back at me with the same horror! What on earth could this woman possibly have to be screaming this loudly about? answer: "I want you to accept my daughter's resume and I want you to start her working tomorrow!" yes, this was a mother, screaming, who wanted her daughter to work in this particular restaurant because it is the best....I understand this, but screaming about it...and if the daughter wanted it that badly then she should have been there herself!
Anyway, the woman did step outside and the manager came in a little while later. He apologised profusely for the interuption to our lunch and looked highly embarrassed that it had happened on his watch. We both assured him that it was O.K. and that there was no problem. We continued eating our lunch with no other interuptions, thank goodness! I must say though, it was the topic for discussion for the rest of the afternoon....until we went shoe shopping that is! :)
