So, I was sitting on my couch this morning watching a morning chat show and an interview with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart came on. I will admit now, I am a Twilight saga fan. Though I do prefer the books to the movies, I think the movies are a fantastic representation. (And really, when you get to look at Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson for about 2 hours no one is complaining!) Back to the story. The interview came on and I was confused. Everyone has been saying that Kristen Stewart is really non-responsive in interviews and is very dull about her answers. This is not what I saw! Kristen was more than willing to answer questions. She spoke about the movies with a sense of attachment, and I also noted she seemed to eminate a sense of comfort in what she was doing. Maybe when Kristen first shot to fame with the movie Twilight, there was some uncomfortable interviews and what not, but who wouldn't be a little uncomfortable with everyone seeming to know everything about you within the space of a few weeks?? All of this considered, I think it is safe to say that Kristen is adjusting well. As for Taylor Lautner, it would seem that fame suits him and that dealing with it does seem to come naturally! Though, I am sure it has been very much a roller-coaster ride for him also.
Continuing with my Twilight saga train of thought, I am immediatly drawn to the up and coming movie, Eclipse. Now, I am a big fan of the book Eclipse. I think it would be safe to say it is my favourite of the four. (With New Moon coming in second and Twilight and Breaking Dawn coming in an even third.) If the book is anything to go by, then the movie should be fantastic!
Now, at this point it is usually where people ask "which team are you?" I am going to give the very disappointing answer of Team Switzerland. I can not make myself choose between the two unconditional and eternal loves of Bella's life. Though, I will say, I was very happy when Bella and Jacob did finally kiss when I was reading the books! (The real kisss, the one before Jacob leaves to go and fight the onslaught of new born vampires) Anyway, the movie should be fantastic!
On the Vampire train of thought, The Vampire Diaries! not the TV show, but the books. (In case you haven't guessed already, I am a book fan!) The Vampire Diaries is wonderful! Lisa J. Smith, you are a genius! :)
Supernatural, yes the TV show with the Winchester brothers (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki). As far as I am concerned, you can not go past a good sitting of Supernatural! I own the first four seasons on dvd, and I can not wait fot the fifth season to come out on dvd! Supernatural is the one thing I religiously watch when it is on TV and get upset about if i miss it! Yes, I am slightly obsessed with the story of the Winchester's and their battle to save humanity. It has nothing to do with Jenses or Jared at all......well, maybe it has a little to do with them....ok a lot! But I do love the story as well! And their car! My goodness! Now I've never really been a car kind of girl, but give me a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala any day! I will quite happily take it and care for it! :)
The Big Bang Theory. Amazing, Funny, Smart and the cutest geniuses I have ever seen!
<3 A Wonderland of Thought
Ok, perfect timing. I watch American tv on my laptop and I just hit a rut wondering what new show to try (hard to decide when there are no commercials or promos on tv for them). So I'm going to give Supernatural a go, thanks :-)
ReplyDeletehaha you're welcome! It is a bit different and far-fetched at times, but it's not too bad! just make sure you watch the seasons in order! otherwise a lot of it will not make sense! <3
